COSTA DE FUEGO 20 and 21 July in Benicassim (Hard-Rock Festival & Metal)

This year is organized the first festival COSTA DE FUEGO, using the music and camping enclosure of the FIB (next to the beach).
There are three stages where simultaneously are playing the groups.
The payment of 2 days costs 80 Euros, and includes free camping 4 days (from day 19 to 22). The other option is the entry of only one day for 42 Euros (non-camping).

The visible head of the cartel, at day 20 is GUNS N 'ROSES and MARILYN MANSON on 21 (although the other groups are really fine).

COSTA DE FUEGO 20 Y 21 de Julio en Benicassim (Festival de Rock duro-Metal)

Este año se organiza el primer festival COSTA DE FUEGO, en el se aprovecha el recinto de conciertos y camping del FIB (al lado de la playa).

Hay tres escenarios simultáneos donde tocaran los grupos.

El abono de 2 días cuesta 80 Euros, e incluye 4 días de camping gratuito (desde el día 19 hasta el 22). La otra opción es la entrada de solo un día por 42 Euros (sin derecho a camping).

La cabeza visible del día 20 es GUNS & ROSES y la del día 21 MARILYN MANSON (aunque el resto de grupos no están nada mal).

FIB (International Festival of Benicassim) 2012 CONCERTS

The FIB is a music festival that play, Pop, Rock, Independent, among other music styles. Which also perform other activities of fashion, cinema, theater and more.
And of course, the main attraction, is that is located next to the beach.
In recent years is called FIB HEINEKEN (because is sponsored by this mark of beer).
The festival was begun in 1995 with the intention of bringing the music to Spain that triumphed in England and Northern Europe and was began to open doors in Spain (also has been harshly criticized in recent years in Spain for not getting music into the coofficial languages in Spain, with bands only in English and Spanish to attract a more majoritarian audience).

There are three reasons why people go to the FIB:
-For the music (because the groups which are playing are important in the national level and international).
-For the beach (because is situated next to the beach in the best season to enjoy it).
-To have sex (because are huge amounts of people wanting party).

The festival opened its campsite on Monday 9 July and the concerts begin on Thursday July 12 to Sunday July 15.
There are 3 stages where groups act , in addition to other activities:

The ticket price is above about 75 euros per day, or the payment of 4 days for about 165 euros (not sure if it includes the camping).

As many groups playing, I see more easier to include the link that I found with the groups and timetables of the three stages.

FIB (Festival Internacional de Benicassim) CONCIERTOS 2012

El FIB es un festival de música Independiente, Pop, Rock, Independiente, entre otros estilos. Donde además se realizan otras actividades de cine moda, teatro entre otras.

Y por supuesto su mayor atractivo, esta situado al lado de la playa.

Desde hace unos años se llama FIB HEINEKEN (porque lo patrocina esta marca de cerveza)

El festival nació en el 1995 con la intención de traer a España la música que triunfaba en Inglaterra y norte de Europa y comenzaba a abrirse puertas en España (también ha sido duramente criticado en los últimos años dentro de España por no incorporar música en los idiomas cooficiales de España, con un cartel de música en Ingles y Español para atraer a un publico más mayoritario).

Hay tres motivos por los que la gente va al FIB:

-Por la música (ya que tocan grupos importantes a nivel nacional e internacional).

-Por la playa (ya que esta situado al lado de la playa, en la mejor época del año para disfrutar de ella).

-Para ligar (ya que vienen cantidades enormes de gente con ganas de fiesta).

El festival abrió su camping el lunes 9 de Julio, y comenzara los conciertos el jueves 12 de julio, hasta el domingo 15 de julio.

Tiene 3 escenarios donde actuaran los grupos, además de otras actividades.

El precio de las entradas esta sobre unos 75 euros por día, o el abono de 4 días por unos 165 euros (no sé si incluye el camping).

FIB (International Festival of Benicassim) ENCLOSURE

The FIB is an that play music festival, Pop, Rock, Independent, among other music styles. Which also perform other activities of fashion, cinema, theater and more.
And of course, the main attraction, is that is located next to the beach.
The enclosure of the FIB, is the best I know to the realization of festivals, because this designed to anticipate the needs of users, there are watter sources bathrooms and shady spaces and several good raised places (very rare in the enclosures of the Spanish festivals, (which are usually crap). In addition there are many green areas.
The camping area is large (but too crowded) and well planned.
There are also many hotels nearby (for those who want more luxuries).
The FIB is celebrated in Benicassim, a coastal town of Castellón (comunidad Valenciana) located about 90 kilometers northeast of Valencia (little bit less depending on the road you choose).
Its first edition was in 1995 and at the beginning was celebrated in the velodrome of Benicassim, until it was decided to create a better-conditioned enclosure (which is the current zone).
The site thanks to its good design, has been used for other festivals like Viñarock several times, and this year begins on Costa de Fuego (Heaby music, Rock and Metal and other similar styles).
You can arrive by car (motorway tolls, or few kilometers by free highway), with several bus lines (depending on where we leave), by train, And though they say you can come by plane, the nearest airport is the Valencia's airport.
Once inside the village, usually well signposted directions to the FIB.
The great part of the public is from England, after from Spain and from various parts of Europe.

FIB (Festival Internacional de Benicassim) RECINTO

El FIB es un festival de música Independiente, Pop, Rock, Independiente, entre otros estilos. Donde además se realizan otras actividades de cine moda, teatro entre otras.

Y por supuesto su mayor atractivo, esta situado al lado de la playa.

El recinto del FIB, es el mejor que conozco para la realización de festivales, ya que esta pensado para prever las necesidades de los usuarios, hay fuentes, sombras baños y espacios varios bien planteados (cosa muy rara en los recintos de festivales españoles, (que generalmente son una mierda). Además hay muchas zonas verdes.

La zona de acampada, es amplia (aunque se llena) y bien planificada.

También hay muchos hoteles cerca (para quien quiere mas lujos).

El FIB se celebra en Benicassim, que es un pueblo costero de Castellón (comunidad Valenciana) situado a unos 90 kilómetros al noreste de Valencia (poco mas poco menos dependiendo de la carretera que se elija).

Su primera edición fue el año 1995 y en sus comienzos se celebraba en el velódromo de Benicassim, hasta que se opto por crear un recinto mejor acondicionado (que es la zona actual)

El recinto gracias a su buen diseño, ha sido utilizado para realizar otros conciertos como el Viñarock en varias ocasiones, y este año comienza el Costa de fuego (de música Heaby, Rock y Metal entre otros estilos similares).

Se puede llegar en coche (por autopista de peaje, o con pocos kilómetros mas por autovía gratuita), con varias líneas de autobús (según de donde salgamos), con tren; Y aunque dicen que con avión, el aeropuerto más cercano es el de Valencia.

Una vez dentro del pueblo, suele estar bien señalizado el cómo llegar.

El publico mayoritario es Ingles, después Español y de diversas zonas de Europa.
