MORE ENVIROMENTAL DESTRUCTION FOR THE SALER'S BEACH

The environmental problem in Saler beach, is long.

For years now by the various port expansions of Valencia brutal, small spills, incivility of people, urbanization, etc.. The beach of Saler among other Valencianas suffer serious deterioration (including dredging work for "regeneration" of the beaches).
As if this were not enough, now thanks to the negligence of vessels stranded by the storm of cold drop, it adds to the great destruction of the coastal strip in the attempted rescue of the vessels (propellers, dredging work , etc.). To which also binds the uncivil action by thousands of onlookers who have come to see them, destroying the fragile ecosystem of the fixed dunes (protected by law).


Although this in our nature to gossip when something happens, that does not give us license to abandon rubbish, trampling the weak and threatened flora of this fragile ecosystem.

Within hours started the turnaround tasks on boats, but it will take decades to regenerate the dunes.

Let us be mindful of our actions and the fragility of  our scarce natural spaces.

MÁS DESTRUCCIÓN AMBIENTAL PARA LA PLAYA DEL SALER

El problema ambiental de la playa del Saler, viene de lejos.

Ya hace años que por las diversas ampliaciones brutales del puerto de valencia, pequeños vertidos, in civismo de la gente, urbanización, etc. La playa del Saler entre muchas otras Valencianas sufren un grave deterioro (incluyendo las tareas de dragado para “regeneración” de las playas).

Por si todo esto fuera poco, ahora gracias a la negligencia de los barcos encallados por el temporal de gota fría, se suma a esto la gran destrucción de la franja litoral en el intento de rescate de los barcos (por las hélices, tareas de dragado, etc.). A la que también se une la incívica acción por parte de los miles de curiosos que se han acercado a verlos arrasando el frágil ecosistema de las dunas fijas (protegidas por la ley).

Aunque este en nuestra naturaleza cotillear cuando pasa algo así, eso no nos da licencia para abandonar basuras, pisotear la escasa y amenazada flora de este frágil ecosistema.

En unas horas comenzaran las tareas de reflotamiento de los barcos, pero se tardara décadas en regenerar las dunas.

Seamos conscientes de nuestros actos y de la fragilidad de los escasos espacios naturales que tenemos.
