FORMULA1 VALENCIA STREET CIRCUIT

The Formula 1 street circuit of Valencia, was designed thinking of something similar to Monte Carlo.
The layout of 5,473 meters, with 25 turns 11 left and 14 right and its average width is about 14 meters (the minimum width of the line is 15 meters and minimum width of the rest of the runway is 12 meters).
Construction began in October 2007, the first European Grand Prix from Valencia was in the race on August 24, 2008, that year also houses the International GT Open and Spanish Formula 3.
Signed contract for the seasons from 2008 to 2015.
The circuit runs along the valencia Grao area, surrounding the inner harbor (across the movable bridge ) to the old Turia riverbed in the neighborhood of Nazaret.

The boxes and the finish line are located in the shed  port number 4 around the inner harbor in the sense of clockwise.
In the 2008 season had a capacity of 112,771 spectators, 35,000 seats were reduced by low demand for tickets in 2009, and so on until the figure of 45,000 seats which will in 2012 because to the economic crisis and low demand for tickets. Also moved the date from August to June trying to find to fill the capacity.
The 2008 winner was the Brazilian Felipe Massa with Ferrari.
In 2009, also Brazilian Rubens Barrichello with Brawn-Mercedes.
In 2010 and 2011 the German Sebastian Vettel with Red Bull

.
The 2012 edition will be held in June 22-23-24.

The private company that handles the circuit is Valmor Sport SL to which the Generalitat Valenciana bought his stake for a euro assuming the millionaire debt (no official source wants to cipher it) contracted with the formula 1.

An alternative option to see the formula 1, is to search in nearby buildings, as many of them offer the chance to see the race from their balconies or terraces including food and drink in the price.
