THE OTHER SIDE OF VALENCIA STREET CIRCUIT Part 2

4 The movable bridge, this bridge was conceived years before it arrives the America's Cup for the freight train inside the port, with an approximate cost of 18,000,000 euros (no official figurebecause it does not was published).
At first it was a drawbridge (the longest in the world) and because its "low" cost, at the time of its constructionno one calculated well as expansion-contraction of their union, so that in summer the two parts of bridge mounting between them and in winter there was a considerable gap that makes dangerous the train pass by it and the operation up and down that theoreticaly had to take three minutes, according to anglers who suffered it's use, cut the traffic for hours. So finally It's get to use not ever.
Later it was decided get it fixed despite criticism by the waste to date and bids in October 2005 from Amsterdam and other cities to buy it for its design.
5 Finally it was decided to restructuring the bridge, when the project reaches the Valencia Street Circuit somebody has the bright idea to reconvert it and transfer of site for the passage of the cars of Formula 1. The conversion of a rotating drawbridge and its adaptation to the demands of Formula 1 budget was 11 million euros (according to an article published by the Levante EMV on August 29, 2007)
Until 2007 already over 20 million euros were spent in , without having had any use.

At last we arrived to the formula 1, how to continue wasting money, foment corruption (because the community of Valencia, is at the head of corruption in Spain) and a way to take advantage of the infrastructure created. Along with the creation of the layout and infrastructure, it creates a lot of luxurious urban planning projects related to its surroundings (remember that in that moment Spain was immersed in a building housing bubble savage and senseless) when the investment was made directly about something more than EUR 90,000,000, was justified in that such infrastructure would be that on rest rest of the year will serve the public (bullshits, because only a small part of the circuit is open to the public to preserve the special pavement) and with the urbanization with luxury buildings nearby, soon recover the investment (project failures by the explosion of the housing bubble and the consequent crisis in which we are increasingly immersed now).

6 The Formula One goes down, nobody wants to assume the costs of the concession of 20,000,000 euros per year more the direct and indirect investments of its conclusion, that on rest Valencia government has tried unsuccessfully a reduction of the fee or to transfer to another city.
No advertising revenue, and that brings them to Ecleston by contract (the owner of the formula 1), as well as sale of the VIP grandstands, each year there are fewer people that came. from the 112,771 locations in the first year. the capacity has been progressively reduced to 45,000 this year, to reduce assembly costs and for not having filled it in the past. And we have a contract until 2015.

The private company that handles the circuit is Valmor Sport SL at which Generalitat Valenciana has bought its participation for one euro its millionaire debt assuming (which no official source wants to cipher) owed to the formula 1.

Meanwhile the policy of astounding construction empty of content, where only the interests prevail of the corrupt political class and their business friends (also corrupt)
The people is submitted into brutal cuts in education, health, social welfare, research and development, while they planning the upcoming construction of the Ferrari thematic park next to the Ricardo Tormo 's motorcycles circuit.

To all this must be added the injury caused to the residents of the area by the road closures, detours enormous in circulation of cars and buses, terrifying noise and the blockade of everyone in the neighborhood of Nazareth trying to hide the lack infrastructure and services in this peripheral area (as well as avoiding the possibility of commercial development in the neighborhood) to the tourists from formula 1.
